Kenya is renowned for its wildlife and diversity of National Parks and reserves. It is little wonder that Kenya safari holidays entice and captivate so many visitors each year. Coupled with a magnificent coastline and gorgeous white sand beaches on which to relax and unwind Kenya is an ideal destination for safari and beach holidays or honeymoons.

Kenya's best known wildlife reserve and for very good reason, as it plays host to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth, the wildebeest migration, between July and October each year. Tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebra congregate in the Mara, spilling across the plains in long lines that extend to the distant horizon. However, the Mara is home to an abundance of resident wildlife, richly rewarding visitors at any time of the year.

In the shadow of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is easily recognisable from pictures of large tusked elephants set against the backdrop of this snow capped mountain. There is plenty of other wildlife to be found here, but for most these are reason enough to visit Amboseli; waking to see the sunrise light up Kili and peacefully watching the large herds of elephants filing in from all directions toward the cooling marshes at the heart of the national park.

Tsavo West National Park has some of the most dramatic and varied scenery of any National Park in Kenya. Spectacular ranges of rocky hills, riverbanks lined with large trees and palm forests and thorny acacia veld hide Tsavo West's secrets. You cannot help but enjoy exploring this unique area in search of its diverse wildlife and each encounter feels that extra bit special!

A relatively short drive away from the popular white sand beaches of Kenya's south coast lies Tsavo East National Park; one of Kenya's largest and oldest National Parks. Famous for its 'red' elephants, visitors are also treated to a wide variety of wildlife and due to the fairly open habitat of much of the park is one of the better places in Kenya to try to spot cheetah.
